Dear Valued Clients & Guests,

 

On behalf of our entire staff, I’m providing you with an update of our efforts to further reduce potential health risks from COVID-19 at the John S. Knight Center and Greystone.

 

We are closely monitoring the situation in consultation with The City of Akron, The County of Summit, State of Ohio, U.S. Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We take very seriously their notices and directives.

 

Based on industry recommendations, the Center and Greystone have implemented the following measures and initiatives:

  • Increased availability of hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility.

  • Increased frequency of the cleaning and sanitation of public restrooms and common surfaces.

  • Heightened kitchen sanitation best practices and food handling protocols.

  • Clear and visible signage featuring CDC recommendations for personal hygiene, and information individuals should know about the Coronavirus.

  • Regularly-scheduled meetings with staff to review the latest information as it pertains to additional preventative measures.

 

Although we will aggressively continue to implement the highest standards for sanitation and food handling protocols, we are now complying with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s recent executive order prohibiting gatherings with more than 100 people in a single space.

 

Please know that we are committed to navigating these uncertain courses of action with our clients and guests. Everyone’s well-being is our first priority – followed immediately by the success of our clients’ business or organization. As we proceed through this challenging time together, my team and I will do everything we can to limit the negative impacts caused by cancellations and postponements.

 

I’m confident we will tackle these challenges, and we will strive to help revive the overall well-being of our hospitality ecosystem.
